Cavs Clinch Playoff Birth During Record Night

Free Cursors

The Cleveland Cavaliers become the NBA's first team to clinch a playoff birth with the 91-73 victory over the Milwaukee Bucks Wednesday night. This is the Cavaliers fourth consecutive year to make the postseason, and this could be a potential first round preview. As usual Lebron James led the way in scoring pouring in 23 points, but Delonte West literally stole the show with a career high 8 steals. With the victory the Cavs move an astonishing 36 games over .500 for the first time in franchise history. The wins only get more and more important as the Cavaliers try to clinch the #1 seed in the Eastern conference and secure homecourt throughout. This victory puts Cleveland at an NBA best 27-1 at Quicken Loans Arena. Mo Williams also had a good outing against his former team scoring 15 points and dishing out 3 assists. Magic number for clinching the Central Division is now 6.
